This project aims to restore part of the churchyard of St Laurence Church to a meadow and wildlife haven. It was the first to be undertaken by Green Appleton, and started in 2017. A lot of work has been done to cut back unwanted vegetation and encourage new growth. The site has been botanically surveyed regularly to monitor its biodiversity, which is a measure the project's success.

There is now a photo station in the churchyard, to collect people's photographs of the meadow area over changing seasons and years - see Time-Lapse Project Station 4
