Good coffee. Great repairs. Better planet.
We have held six repair cafes in Appleton now, and each one has been popular with the local community - it must be the cake!
They act as a means of prolonging the life of people's belongings, so diverting things from the waste stream and we hope
a way of changing attitudes, even if in a small way.
The last one and the next one will be held in Appleton School, forging links with another part of the community and encouraging sustainable habits in the next generation. We also have been lucky enough to have bike experts from Abingdon Carbon Cutters with us, to show us how to maintain our bikes and bring sustainable transport into the picture.

The next Repair Cafe is on June 6th, from 1 - 4pm, at Appleton School.
Notice that we've moved it to the afternoon - hopefully to allow those with Saturday
morning sporting commitments to come along.
