Green Appleton Repair Cafe
Thank you to everyone who made our first Repair Cafe such a success - in particular to our wonderful band of repairers who gave up their time
and expertise to mend all the items that people brought. We had a tremendous turnout, with people bringing things during the whole period we were
open and consuming cups of tea and cake with enthusiasm.And in response to everyone who asked us - yes, we are already planning the next one!
Activity in the Repair Cafe
The graphic below gives an idea of what went on in our first Repair Cafe. It's not completely precise, as people were trying to keep a record
at the same time as talking to people or making coffees etc. However, we're pretty pleased with it, and delighted with the level of interest
that we got.

Here is a selection of photos from the Repair Cafe, showing the repairers hard at work, the wonderful selection of cake that was baked for us, and the people
who brought items for repair or came to see how it was going. Oh, and of course the hall, decorated with banners so that no one could be in any doubt
about what was going on.
If you came, we hope you enjoyed it - we got some lovely comments, and people seemed delighted with the repairs.
