Green Appleton Time-Lapse Project
Photo Station 4

robin

This is Station 4 of the Green Appleton time-lapse project.
This one is a bit diiferent to the other three, as it's in the churchyard, overlooking the area that the Churchyard Project is restoring.
We hope to record the blooming and fading of the wildflowers that are growing here, and show how the area changes over time.
Thank you for taking part in our project. Please choose your photo in the box below, and click "Send Photo" to add it to the time-lapse.
Please note that we are finding that large photo files are sometimes slow to load. Please can you reduce the resolution/file size in your camera? Sometimes taking the photo via WhatsApp gives a smaller file, or if all else fails, wait until you get home and upload it over the WiFi.
Thank you.

The siting of the photo station in the churchyard was carefully chosen so that the recent memorials were out of view. This does mean that some of the blooming wildflowers aren't caught in the shot. In late June there was a spectacular show of hawkbit in the area that had been treated with yellow rattle.
