Green Appleton Repair Cafe
We held our third Repair Cafe on Saturday May 31st 2025.
The fine weather (stark contrast to last time!) meant we could have our sharpeners and some cafe tables outside to give us more space, and for people
to relax in the sun while awaiting repairs.
Activity in the May Repair Cafe
We weren't as busy this time as we were in February - possibly because it was half term, possibly because in February it was the beginning of the
gardening season, and lots of people wanted gardening tools sharpened.
However, there was a good atmospher, and lots of people wanted tea, cake and a chat.
Due to the good weather, we were able to site our sharpening stand outside - giving them as much space as they needed - and also we could put cafe tables
outside too.
